Greetings! My name is Ivonne Nwadike. I am a board certified mental health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP-BC. I am a native of Cameroon. I received my associate degree in nursing from Montgomery College at Takoma Park in Maryland, my Bachelor of Science Degree from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona, and my Master of Science degree in Nursing from Walden University of Minneapolis, Minnesota with honors, and a member of the Golden Key International honor society for high standards in Academics, Leadership and Service.
I value professionalism and provide compassionate patient-centered care. As a Nurse Practitioner I have been privileged to manage and treat a wide range of mental health concerns including anxiety, ADHD, depression, sleep problems/insomnia, OCD, Bipolar, PTSD, substance use disorders, Schizophrenia and more. I have experience treating teens, adults, and the elderly. I work well with clients from all backgrounds, providing a safe, non-judgmental, and comfortable space for people of all cultures to heal. I am excited to work with people who want to improve their overall health, and I wish everyone knew there is Hope.
Also, I wish everyone would know that taking that First step is the hardest part, and once the first step is made, we are here to make sure you get to where you want to be in your unique journey and life. My inspiration comes from seeing the positive results that come to light after working with individuals one step at a time, to achieve their individual goals.
